Training
The Spencer Alliance for Leadership and Teaching (SALT) is a comprehensive suite of training and professional development opportunities. It is comprised of:
- George Spencer Academy School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
- Spencer Apprenticeships
- Spencer Teaching School Hub
- Derby Research School
- Maths Hub East Midlands West
These programmes share a passion for ensuring our schools continue to learn through and with each other, using evidence and research to improve teaching and learning and boost outcomes for all pupils and leadership across the school system.
We deliver training and communication events across the region, working with schools in all phases and settings.
