Become a Governor
Our academies succeed in large part thanks to the support of their Local Governing Bodies (LGBs). Our local governing bodies are made up of representative members of the school community. As critical friends to senior leadership, they play an important role in supporting the Board of Directors with their broader responsibility for governance across the Spencer Academies Trust.
Together, we deliver on the Spencer Academies Trust mission: to provide high-quality education and deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
We recruit for governors on a rolling basis, so if you’re someone with a passion for supporting children through education, we want to hear from you. We are particularly looking for individuals with expertise in finance, human resources, community relations, safeguarding and governance.
